Bright and Mirthful Photoshoot
I am always keen to make floral magic… So when Teresa (from Teresa Saunders Photography) approached me, asking if I was interested in a floral collab… I was immediately HECK YES.
Teresa is brand new to Victoria BC, she came from Ontario, and she is such a delightful human…we immediately clicked, and she was so patient with my baby, even teaching him the ins and outs of photography haha.
When she arrived, I had oodles and loads of flowers everywhere, I think she was honestly a bit overwhelmed haha – we got straight to work, reorganizing my living room to make it into a studio… moving couches, furniture, wall hangings, and even disturbing the cats preferred nesting space.
I don’t think Teresa expected I would put her straight to work, but I did. I pulled out my tools, got some command strips, put them to the wall….attached a chicken wire frame using fishing line, and then handed Teresa a set of pruners and a bucket of flowers and said…. go ahead, create some magic!….and I think we succeeded…this photoshoot is rose heaven, you should have seen my living room – it smelled AMAZING.
Once we were done in the living room with our rose install, we gathered up the baby and headed to the kitchen, to do some more super cute shots. The flowers are inspo from our Mirth and Meadows collection, which aims to evoke feelings of frolicking through a field of wildflowers in your white lace skirt, carrying a wicker basket full of crackers and cheese. In this package, we have a variety of wildflower-esque flowers, including snapdragons, ranunculus, waxflower, spray mums, statice… and more!
Well enough rambling about behind the scenes, check out the amazing photos we took! If you love these flowers, make sure to check out our website, you can buy them yourself, and create the wall installation of your dreams!
xoxo
